In all our gatherings, we do one or more of the following:

  Read the Bible in our Scripture readings.
  Preach the Bible in our sermons.
  Pray the Bible in our corporate prayer.
  Sing the Bible in our hymns, praise songs and choruses.
  Obey the Bible in the Lord’s Supper and Believer’s baptism.

Sunday Morning

Age-wise, we are a mixture of ages and you can find young, middle age and seniors in our congregation. Overall, we tend to be on the older side. Dress trends toward business-casual, though you can find folks wearing jeans and other types of casual clothing. People are friendly, though you may need to be bold and introduce yourself. We don’t ask our visitors to publicly identify themselves during worship services, however, during a short meet and greet period folks may spot you as a visitor and say hello.

Sunday mornings begin at 9:30am when we gather together for an hour of Sunday School in which we learn about God’s Word and its application to all areas of life. We have several classes to choose from.

Our worship service begins at 10:45am. During this time we sing several songs, offer prayer and praise, hear Scripture read and give our financial offerings. Visitors are not expected to participate in offerings but may do so if they wish. Preaching is expositional, meaning that it seeks to declare the point of a particular Biblical passage. Sermons usually last between 30-45 minutes and are uploaded to our website within a day or two. All preaching is gospel-driven. A normal service lasts until 12 noon.

The music we sing at GBC is a blend of old and new. We love the doctrinally rich hymns of centuries past and we find blessing in the choruses of the twenty-first. We favor congregational singing, which emphasizes the gathered body singing praise to God with one voice, though usually we also have individuals that sing praise songs.

Wednesday Evening

Our Wednesday evening programs begin at 6:30pm. 

The adults meet in the sanctuary where the Pastor leads them through Bible study followed by a time of prayer.

Our Summer Children’s Program is for kindergarten through 6th grade. Our Children’s Director, Jessica Espinosa, and our faithful volunteers lead the children in a time of Bible study, crafts and recreation.

Youth Leader, Jason Potts, provides a time of fellowship and Bible study for the 7th through 12th graders. 

The evening activities last one hour.
